Following our post on the most popular baby boy names from a hundred years ago, we also have the top 100 baby girl names from 1904 too. Things have changed a lot in over a hundred years and none of the top 10 names from then have kept their spot since then. But you’ll notice a lot of these names creeping their way back up the charts. Number 10 Elsie has recently returned to the top 100 (at number 94) and Annie, Alice, Florence and Elizabeth are all still around. The likes of Dorothy, Doris, Edith, Margaret and perhaps most surprisingly Mary have all taken a tumble though.
