At around their 1 year birthday, many children begin to take their first steps. To help prepare a child to start walking, you may consider giving them/their parents a baby walker as a gift for a first birthday.
Baby walkers are devices that are supposed to aid children in finding their feet for the first time. Typically a baby would be safely confined within the walker which is on wheels.
